Roslyn High School INCubator and ACCELerator students took center stage at the Uncharted Learning Student Showcase, held at Riverside Church in New York City on Dec. 5. More than 80 students pitched with professionalism and enthusiasm at their trade tables, collecting valuable market research and real-world feedback on their business ideas.
Two Roslyn teams earned special recognition after being selected to pitch on stage before an audience of more than 200 people and a panel of expert judges. Team Stadium IQ — Jacob Brooks, Adam Camisi, Harrison Goldman and Adam Hertz-Shargel — earned top honors for the INCubator program. Team Versa — Sophie Rosenman, Abigail Forcheimer, Chloe Herman and Ashley Ratner — was the only ACCELerator team invited to present on stage.
“All of the 17 teams participating had a great time while gathering real research for their startups,” business teacher Jennifer DiPietro said. “We all learned so much, and I could not be prouder of our INCubator and ACCELerator teams. Well done, Roslyn!”
“We commend all our students for their hard work, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit,” Roslyn High School assistant principal Sandy Stueber said. “Roslyn is proud of each and every one of you!”
