Max Lippmann and Sophia Papadopoulos were honored Dec. 9 at the Inn at New Hyde Park after being selected as Roslyn High School’s Outstanding Physical Education Students by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Nassau Zone.
The New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Nassau Zone is a professional organization that supports educators in promoting health and physical literacy for all.
Its mission is to serve as a leading resource and advocate for health, physical education, recreation and dance, offering professional development, guidance and leadership opportunities to teachers and future professionals.
Lippmann and Papadopoulos were chosen by the school’s physical education staff for consistently exemplifying the qualities of outstanding physical education students throughout their high school careers.
