L’AMI Bakery & Cafe and Ten Thousand Coffee have announced a partnership to serve Ten Thousand’s Australian coffee at L’AMI’s Great Neck location.
The Great Neck L’AMI was only the seventh location in the country when it opened in September 2025, and so far, it is the only L’AMI partnered with Ten Thousand.
The Great Neck location, which operates out of the H Plaza across from H Mart on Great Neck Road, will now serve Ten Thousand’s Einspänner, Espresso Cream Latte, and Onyx Latte.
L’AMI is a bakery franchise that was created by H Mart, the largest Asian grocery chain in the United States.
Grand BK, a franchise-specialized subsidiary of H Mart, helped bring about the collaboration. Grand BK is responsible for introducing new brands and coordinating partnerships with other companies like Ten Thousand Coffee.
It is also the main supplier for H Mart and L’AMI, sourcing products from South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Ecuador, and Argentina.
Now, however, the Great Neck L’AMI will be sourcing its coffee from Ten Thousand.
In 2014, Ten Thousand was founded in Sydney, Australia. Australians were slow adopters of coffee, preferring tea, until a rise in immigration from Italy and Greece made coffee consumption more mainstream.
Today Australian coffee is seen as synonymous with quality and is thought to have pioneered the flat white—a strong espresso drink with more steamed milk than the average latte.
Ten Thousand has found success overseas as a quality cafe that capitalizes on its Australian branding.
In the United States, Ten Thousand operates just three locations — all in Manhattan.
But now, Long Islanders can try the Australian brand closer to home and to promote their partnership, L’AMI customers in Great Neck can cash in on 10% off all products until Jan. 31.
