Schreiber Science Olympiad is headed back to states.
The Schreiber Science Olympiad teams competed at Kellenberg High School in the Regional Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 7. Their performance earned them a spot in the state tournament for the fifth consecutive year, which will be held at Le Moyne University in Syracuse in March.
The team placed fourth out of 41 teams and competed in 23 events, bringing home an impressive 20 medals. Their success reflects an incredible amount of dedication, preparation, and teamwork.
Congratulations to captains Justin Lee, Marshall Cheung, Kailyn Costello, and Theo Grigorenko for leading the teams to success. The school offered a big thank you as well to head coach Nicole LoPinto, assistant coaches Jason Caesar and Danielle Weaver, and Jen Paradis for chaperoning and supporting the team along the way.
