Five New Directors Elected to the Long Island Association

The Long Island Association announced five new members have joined the board of directors, including representatives from Flagstar Bank and Meta, who will represent their companies on the board for the first time.

The five new board members are Irina Berg, the head of nonprofit, higher education and healthcare banking at Citi Commerical Bank, Tamra Postiglione, a market executive and managing director for Flagstar Bank, Charlie Prizzi, the senior vice president of advancement and special advisor to the president at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Michael Sciortino, the general manager for UBS Arena and Beauclarine Thomas, the Mid-Atlatnic region public policy manager for Meta.

The LIA made the announcement on Wednesday, June 4. The association’s board of directors includes over 100 members. 

The LIA is a non-profit organization designed to represent the various businesses of the Long Island region. 

“The addition of these dynamic leaders to our Board reflects the LIA’s continued commitment to a strong and dynamic business community,” Lawrence Waldman, chairman of the LIA, said. “Each representative brings a unique perspective that will help us seize economic opportunities and address challenges facing Long Island.” 

Berg replaced John Berke on the board for Citi, Prizzi replaced Bruce Stillman on the board for the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Sciortino replaced Kim Stone for UBS Arena.

 

Beauclarine Thomas
Beauclarine Thomas, the Mid-Atlantic region public policy manager for Meta, was added to the Long Island Associations Board of Directors.

 

Tamra Postiglione
Tamra Postiglione, a market executive and managing director for Flagstar Bank, was added to the Long Island Association’s Board of Directors.
