We hope you will read the Meet the Candidates stories in this edition of the Enterprise Pilot.
Voting takes place on Tuesday, May 19 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the foyer of the Oyster Bay High School Gymasium. This district of voters can be proud of what they/we have endorsed for public education in the community. The gymnasium was a long struggle the voters finally agreed upon to the benefit of all.
We have confidence in the voters in that they understand the importance of a strong school district.
It is truly a great thing we do to preserve this great Democracy.
We agree that no one likes signing checks – but it is just a necessary evil – and in the case of education – its benefits are enduring. – DFK
