Obituary: Francis Pfost

Francis Pfost, lifelong resident of Farmingdale, passed away at the age of 84 on June 1, 2009. Dedicated life member of East Farmingdale Fire Department. WWII U.S. Army private. Husband of Eleanor. Father of Linda Blowicsky and Steven Pfost. Grandfather of Christopher, Brian, Steven and Jonathon. Great-grandfather of Katie and Elena. Predeceased by his two sisters and one brother. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held June 5 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at L.I. National Cemetery, Pinelawn.
