I would like to congratulate Maureen Lee for winning a seat on the Hicksville Board of Education.
I have been one of her neighbors for over 35 years and am well aware of her sincerity in the education of our children. I also know that she has been eager, since retiring from the administrative offices, to get re-involved in helping to keep the district one of the best.
I would also like to congratulate her for not stooping to address her predecessor’s belittling remarks about her shortcomings.
