On the fourth try, we finally got a tournament in although it was under very overcast skies. We had 22 men golf today. There were 4 men under net par and 2 men at even net par. There were 20 pars overall with Dave Malle getting 4 of them. There was also one birdie by Warren Gallagher on the 200 yard, par 4, 4th hole. Our next tournament on July 2, will also be the first round of the match play tournament. Please check the bulletin board to see who you are playing and sign up together. You must play in the same foursome. On July 30 (the 5th Thursday in July – not a usual golf day) we will play an extra tournament to make up for the tournament that was rained out in early June.

The next tournament will be on Thursday, July 2. Sign in is at 7a.m. Please be on time. Competition on the nine hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 13 or less. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 14 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league. Any man who is 55 years of age is eligible.
