T.J. Amotobozo Knows Oyster Bay

T.J. Amotobozo called to identify the photograh in the July 9 issue of the Enterprise Pilot. He said, “It is taken from the corner of Town Hall East.”

Dawn Toomie Cluff, too, said, “It is the corner where you enter the town hall parking lot just where the pay phone used to be, and right across the street from where Acclaim used to be located.”

Pat Devlin said, “The mystery picture of July 9 is of the kiosk that was put in by the Main Street Association that has information about Oyster Bay in it. It is located between the driveway between Town Hall and the Town Hall East and in the corner of the picture you can see the bandstand. They are doing a great job in the town. I love the flowers on the poles; they look so great.”

Billy Minicozzi recognized the location as being near the gazebo (the Derby-Hall Bandstand). On a sports note he said the Mets are “The same old Mets.” They were in second-to-the-last place. Still again, Billy said, “I hope the Mets have a good season.” – DFK
