Obituary:Kenneth A. Brooker

Kenneth A. Brooker, 69, of Lincoln, NE, died on July 6, 2009. He was born in Astoria, NY, on Oct. 27, 1939 to George and Rita (Dougherty) Brooker. Kenny was a U.S. Marine veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Leslie Brooker of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth W. and Maria Brooker of New Hyde Park; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brandon, Audrey and Hailey; brother and sister-in-law, Gerard and Sheila Brooker of Bethel, CT; sister: Eileen Olm of Dingmans Ferry, PA; brother-in-law Jim Stauffer of Lincoln; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, Wallace, Joan and Robert.
