A great big thank you deserves to be given to everyone involved with the transformation of Gerngras Park in Farmingdale. A grant was obtained by Legislator Dave Mejias and together with Mayor Starkie, a meeting was held to get input from area residents.
The park has been updated with new fencing, landscaping, swings, and a fresh coat of paint. Broken equipment was removed. Additionally, the paved path that was added allows strollers and wheelchairs easier access.
We have all begun to enjoy the new improvements and know we speak for many in expressing our gratitude to Legislator Mejias, Mayor Starkie, and the Village of Farmingdale’s Department of Public Works.
