Obituary: John G. Gullo

John G. Gullo, of Hicksville, died on Oct. 11, 2009. A U.S. Army WWII veteran, he received the Purple Heart. He was owner of G&G Gulf Service Station. Husband of Frances L. Father of Theresa Zappulla, Lorijean, Tina Marie Nowakowski (David) and the late Nicholas and John G. Jr. Brother of Gloria Vultis, Anne Marrone, Frances M. Gullo, Delores Gatti and Nicholas Gullo. Grandfather of John Michael, Stephen and Nicole. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Mass at St. Ignatius RC Church. Cremation private.
