Francis M. Jeziorski, 86, of Bethpage, formerly of Farmingdale and New Hyde Park, passed away courageously and peacefully at home. Husband of 35 years to the late Marianne (died May 2009). Father of Darla Catania. “Grandpa J,” Uncle Frank, grandpa and great-grandpa. A WWII veteran, he was a U.S. Postal Service supervisor, retiring after 25 years. “Tough but fair.” A former athlete, he played football and minor league baseball. Frank enjoyed his many trips with Marianne with whom he was happily united. Blessed to say “he had a good life.” As per his wishes, there were no calling hours. Cremation was private. His ashes were placed in LI National Cemetery, Pinelawn. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home.
