Indoor golf lessons at the clubhouse this fall proved to be a hole-in-one! Indoor golf, instructed by athletic supervisor Kurt LeBright, was held at the clubhouse on Monday evenings. Participants hit special indoor golf balls that simulate the flight of real golf balls. The club’s golfers worked on the mechanics of their swings and hit targets to work on accuracy. Kurt worked one-on-one with the participants, as well as instructing group drills. The program included a trip to the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course driving range on Tuesday, Nov. 24, where the children had an opportunity to hit real golf balls outdoors, as well as practice putting on the putting green. The trip was generously sponsored by Boys & Girls Club board member and Sports Committee Chairperson, Jim Litke. More information regarding indoor golf is available at the clubhouse, as well as on the website at www.bgcoben.org.
