Tyler Arnone, Nassau Player of the Year

Congratulations to Tyler Arnone, Hicksville High School senior and varsity soccer team captain and MVP, on a very successful soccer season.

Arnone finished the 2009 season, leading the county with 18 goals and 10 assists and, at the annual county awards dinner, was presented with the prestigious Jim Steen – Nassau County Player of the Year Award. Arnone was also awarded Conference AA Player of the Year and named to the 2009 All Regional Team.

Arnone is a four-time All County Selection and two-time All State Selection.

Additionally, he was named to Newsday’s All Long Island team and the Hicksville Boys Varsity Soccer Team won the Class AA County Championship. The team is led by Coach Fabrizio, who was named Conference AA Coach of the Year and Coach Starkey.

Arnone will attend St. John’s University in fall 2010 on a full athletic soccer scholarship. His friends and family are very proud of all his accomplishments and wish him the best of luck as he begins his college career.
