One of Only 13 Chosen
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District is proud to announce that Superintendent Gerard W. Dempsey, Jr. has been honored with the Nassau BOCES Education Partner Award.
Through its Education Partner Awards program, Nassau BOCES honors 13 individuals for being the most influential people for public education in Nassau County. The award recognizes those whose impact on education can be measured in a tangible way and who share their commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for students of all ages and abilities. From the more than 85 online nominations received this year, Mr. Dempsey was one of 13 individuals to be chosen as the most influential people. Honorees will receive their Education Partner Awards at a special event in their honor on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
