Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray presents commemorative football celebrating 2009 Long Island Championship to Head Coach Tom Flatley of Garden City High School during a town hall ceremony honoring the team’s recent title.
Also attending the celebration are varsity players, Kyle Minerva, Matthew Montgomery, Chris DiBona, Joe Tursi, Kevin Dachille, Jimmy Kenny, Conor Cortese, Chris Stapleford, Bryan Carney, Joe Visentin, Joseph Gentile, Mike Giannone, Dan LoSardo, Billy Sweeny and Jared Mitchell. Teaming up with Garden City players are Assistant Coach David Ettinger, Athletic Director Nancy Kalafus, Town Clerk Don Clavin, Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby, Councilwoman Angie Cullin and Town Clerk Mark Bonilla.
