Merillon To Hold Baseball and Softball Instructional Kickoff Night At Clinton Martin Community Center March 18 at 7p.m.
Merillon AA will hold its annual Instructional kickoff meeting at Clinton Martin Community Center, 1650 Marcus Ave, New Hyde Park. The program is for boys and girls who are born between May1st 2003 and April 30th 2005.
The program is intended to introduce children to the game of baseball and softball. Children are taught diamond recognition system which speeds up the learning process along with the fundamentals of throwing, fielding, hitting.
Anyone who is registered or would like to register is urged to attend. Uniforms and ice cream will be distributed to all players and important highlights and organization procedures will be reviewed.
The program begins on April 10th and continues through June 12th. The fee for the program is $80.
