On Saturday, April 10, The New Hyde Park Little League will hold its Annual Opening Day Parade.
The parade will assemble at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Leonard Boulevard and Jericho Turnpike. The parade will kickoff at 10 a.m. sharp and head west on Jericho Turnpike to Covert Avenue where they will turn south on Covert until they reach Stewart Avenue.
The parade will then proceed west on Stewart to Michael J. Nuzzi Field where a brief ceremony will be held including the throwing out of the first ball by New Hyde Park Mayor Daniel Petruccio. After the ceremonies the players will be served ice cream.
