Genevieve “Jean” Vitacco, 99, of Brooklyn and Bayville, died peacefully at home on March 15, 2010. Wife of Salvatore Vitacco and the late Anthony Monaco. Mother of Molly Lamonaca (late Donald), Patricia Laspagnoletta (Ronald), Madelyn Sampogna (Dominick), the late Anne Monaco and the late Ralph Monaco (Catherine). Grandmother of 12. Great-grandmother of 12. Sister of Rose Passaro, Ann Romano, Gilda Rotella and Lillian LeDonne (Vincent). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visiting at Village Chapels, Middle Village. Arrangements entrusted to the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Francis Paola RC Church, Brooklyn. Interment All Faiths Cemetery.
