On Tuesday, June 1, St. Ignatius Loyola will host its 13th Annual Golf Classic at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course. The cost for an individual is $185 and will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Included in the price is 18 holes of golf, the use of an electric golf cart, goodie bags and prizes, and a full barbecue lunch at noon. At the conclusion of the round of golf, a cocktail party and dinner will follow at The Woodlands, located on the golf course property.
Sponsorships and deluxe golf packages are available. Many who participated in the previous outings have raved about the wonderful prizes and how much they enjoyed themselves. This year the hole-in-one prize will be a cash prize of $10,000. A silent auction featuring some truly fabulous prizes will be held during the cocktail hour and dinner.
Prior to the outing they are selling raffle tickets for a laptop computer. The price of the raffle tickets is $10 each or three for $20 and they will be available through the rectory at 931-0056.
