Robert M. Schmelzle, of Hicksville, passed away peacefully, on Aug. 26, 2010. Beloved husband of Wilma. Devoted father of Peter Marion, Robert S. Schmelzle, Susan J. Salmon (Eddie), Janet Schmelzle, Thms Marion (Margaret), Timothy Marion (Kris), Kathy Fischer (Kenneth), Kathy Yuill (Gil). Adored grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of two. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Hicksville Chapel. Funeral service at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Hicksville. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Memorial Fund.
