John “Warren” Barteau, 67, lifelong resident of Bayville, died on Aug. 28, 2010, age 67. Beloved father of Brigitte, Jon (Kim) and Tracy. Cherished grandfather of George, Chloe, Hannah and Sophie. Dear brother of Barry (Beverly), Wayne, Keith (Hollis), Cindy Neglia (Bill), John and Kerry McCormick. Devoted boyfriend of Suzanne Jakab. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service at the Village Church of Bayville-United Methodist. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Massapequa Kiwanis Foundation, 9 Holly Ct., Massapequa Park, NY 11762, would be appreciated.
