With Halloween just around the corner, Supervisor Jon Kaiman, the North Hempstead Town Board announced the approach of one of the Town’s most popular family events: Spooky Week.
For three terrifyingly, spooky nights and one not-so-spooky day, ghosts, ghouls, goblins, swamp monsters and a bunch of their gruesome buddies will rise up from their lairs and prowl the grounds of Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson.
The 2010 Spooky Walk—which may not be suitable for young children and requires that all minors be accompanied by an adult—happens from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 28, Friday Oct. 29 and Saturday Oct. 30. Entry fee for the Spooky Walk is $5.
Not-so-Spooky Walk —suitable for children of all ages—happens from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 31. The entry fee is $3
With more than 12-acres of well-manicured and planted grounds, Clark Botanic Garden located at 193 IU Willets Rd., is a perfect setting for the four-day Halloween extravaganza.
