Obituary: Katherine Sposato

Katherine Sposato, of Oyster Bay, died on Oct. 29, 2010. Wife of 69 years to Louis F. Mother of Bertha (Peter) Heelan, Francis L. (Joann), Patricia (John) Lala. Grandmother of five and great-grandmother of 11. She was a member of the IHM Guild of St. Dominic’s Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Visiting at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, 293 South St., Oyster Bay, Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic’s R.C. Chapel. Interment to follow St. Patrick’s RC Cemetery, Huntington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
