Joseph J. Savino
Joseph J. Savino, of Locust Valley, died on Feb. 7, 2011 at age 86. He was a WWII Army veteran of D-Day, Battle of the Bulge and into Germany until V-Day. Husband of the late Clara. Father of Joe and Camille Savino Koorey (Tom). Brother of Frank, Rosalie, the late Rocky and Billy. Grandfather of Michael and Danielle. Arrangements were made by the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove. Mass at the Church of St. Gertrude, Bayville. Donations may be made to PDSA (www.PDSA.org). Interment Locust Valley Cemetery.
