Obituary – Donald F. Glascott

Donald F. Glascott, of Farmingdale, died suddenly on Feb. 25, 2011. Donald was an active volunteer for many community organizations – a 53-year member of the Farmingdale Fire Department of which he was chief of the department 1969-70, driver for St. Kilian Outreach, director of the Benevolent Association and a 40-year member Operating Engineers IOUE Local 138, retired in 2001. Husband of Patricia Ann. Father and father-in-law of Thomas and Beth, Matthew and Marianne, Andrew and Melinda, and Sonia Glascott. Brother and brother-in-law of Edgar and Joan and Mary Jane Schmidt. Grandfather of Janine, Brian, Garrett, Breanna, Emily, Derek, Stephanie, Kelly, Rebecca, Rachel, Joseph and Sara. Great-grandfather of Hayden. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Cremation private.
