The competition team of Broadway Dance in Hicksville, under the direction of owner Robin Ribarich and teacher Theresa Lewis, recently won awards at The Power of Dance competition.
The soloist, Katherine Savlas of Oyster Bay, received gold. The small group tap and jazz, Katherine Savlas of Oyster Bay, Samantha Rea of Hicksville, Catherine Hartel of Hicksville, and Ashley Riccinto of Syosset, received gold.
The Senior Duet, Laura Connolly and Danika Strand, received high gold as well as overall high score award in their age category. These girls were not only dancing for an award, but to help raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All are very proud of what these dancers achieved at this competition – way to go, girls!
