Obituary: Edward W. Hauser

Edward W. Hauser, of McCormick, SC, and East Norwich, died on July 7, 2011. Husband of Elizabeth (Betty). Father of Victoria, Edward, Terry (Michael) Wulforst, Lori (Peter) Strohla, Robin (Robert) Licato. Grandfather of 21 and great-grandfather of two. Brother of Richard. He was a 64-year member of the East Norwich Fire Company and member of the East Norwich Volunteer and Exempts, past president of the East Norwich Kiwanis. The family will receive friends at the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, 293 South St., Oyster Bay, Friday, July 15 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Firematic services 8 p.m. Memorial Mass Saturday, July 16 at 11 a.m. St. Dominic’s RC Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community United Methodist Church in East Norwich.
