Congratulations to Levittown’s own Tom Glenn, who scored as the first finisher overall in the 8th annual Heart & Sole 5 Kilometer Run through the streets of Plainview on Sunday, July 10.
Glenn crossed the finish line at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School in 17 minutes, 57 seconds, a pace of 5:29 per mile that brought him to the finish 20 seconds in front of runner-up Paul Warthen of Brooklyn.
Another Levittown award winner was Jon Wallach, who took first place honors in the 55-59 Age Group with a time of 19:24.
