Well, looks like a gold medal is out of the equation.

A member of the U.S. Ski Team couldn’t hold it in, and now he has been kicked off the squad.

Robert “Sandy” Vietze has been released from the team, the Associated Press reports, after he was accused of urinating on a sleeping 11-year-old girl on a JetBlue flight to New York.

Police detained the 18-year-old after the flight from Portland, Org. landed at JFK.

In an e-mail to the Associated Press, the U.S. Ski team said Vietze had been dismissed for conduct violations.

The skier was reportedly drunk during the incident and didn’t realize he was urinating on the girl’s leg during the red-eye flight.

According to the New York Post, Vietze is among the top 75 skiers on the U.S. team, and might have just lost his chance of skiing for his country in the 2014 Winter Games in Russia.

“Based on the information we have, Sandy Vietze is in violation of the USSA code of conduct and team agreement, and has been dismissed from the team,” U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association executive vice president of athletics Luke Bodensteiner told msnbc.com.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorneys office told the AP that the case is pending. This comes after the Port Authority police said federal prosecutors decided not to press charges.

The girl was flying with her sister and father, who has cancer, when the incident occurred. The family was flying to New York to visit their grandmother on Long Island.
