Obituary: John Watson

John (Johnnie) Watson, 82, of Oyster Bay, formerly of Virginia, died on Oct. 17, 2011. Father of Rosetta, Johnnie, James and Betty Jean. Brother of Bertie Colona. Grandfather of Tamika, James II, Megan, Serena and Synthia. Great grandfather of Ki-Jana, Nikia, Mikayla, Josiah, Rodney Jr., Jeremiah and Terrence Jr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was a lifelong deacon of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Oyster Bay. Visiting and funeral services were held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Interment at Burton Cemetery in Melfa, VA. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Oyster Bay Funeral Home.
