Michelle Duggar has announced she is pregnant with her 20th child.
The reality star of “19 Kids and Counting” announced the news with Jim Bob Duggar on the “Today” show.
“We are so excited,” Michelle said. “I was not thinking that God would give us another one, and we are just so grateful.”
The newest addition to the large family is due in April.
Duggar is currently around three-and-a-half months pregnant and according to People, says “I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now.”
This pregnancy will be different in that Michelle will have her first scheduled Cesarean section.
Last month, Michelle told the Huffington Post she wanted another baby but didn’t know if it was possible because of her age.
Michelle, 45, last gave birth in 2009 to Josie.
Josie was born weighing a little over 1 pound, December 10 in Little Rock after Michelle Duggar had an emergency cesarean section because she’d developed preeclampsia.
But the Duggars are confident in this pregnancy and are on top of Michelle’s health.
“Michelle is probably in better health now than she was 10 years ago,” said Jim Bob. “She has been getting on an elliptical for about an hour a day and is very careful of what she eats.”
“We are just going to do the best we can,” said Michelle, reported People. “I am taking a nap every day, and we are just taking good care.”
