Obituary: Beatrice Corrao

Beatrice Corrao, 86, of Farmingdale. Born Beatrice Curialle Oct. 4, 1925 in Brooklyn. She has also lived in Deer Park and Vero Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Jerome, and their grandson, Ben Corrao Clanon. Mother of Diana (John E. Thomson), Jeanette Whalen (Edward) and S. Regina (Jeff Clanon). Grandmother of Alex, Jenna, Michael, Daniel, Christopher, Randy, Joyce, Sam, Edward, Patrick, Matt and Susan-Carol. Beatrice is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, a sister and a sister-in-law. She worked as an executive secretary, earned an associate degree in 1982, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and volunteered in various organizations. Unwaveringly loving and devoted to her family and friends, she also enjoyed travel, the beach, theatre and baking. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Oct. 25 at St. Kilian RC Church. Donations in her name may be sent to Little Flower Children’s Services or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
