Obituary: Edgar R. Daniels 1919-2011

Edgar R. Daniels was Businessman of the Year, Chamber of Commerce Award, a Marine veteran, technical sergeant, WWII, 1949 original Levittown homeowner, founded Daniels Advertising Company in 1960 and remained owner and chief executive until passing, was active in community affairs, commissioner of Levittown Little League, president of Levittown Exchange Club, president Levittown Chamber of Commerce, member of the Levittown Kiwanis Club, chairman of the annual Levittown Home Show, member of the NC Chamber of Commerce, coordinator of NY Mets Booster, committeeman for NC Republican Party from 1960 to his passing. He was married to Patricia Daniels from 1946 to her death in 2006. He is survived by his sons, Ed Daniels and Scott Daniels; daughter-in-law Jessica; grandchildren, Jed and Megan; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral entrusted to the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Levittown Chapel.
