Readers – this could almost be a mystery picture – it is just missing a hint to let you know where it was taken – although many of you probably recognize the location.
The photograph was taken after the Life Enrichment Center of Oyster Bay Benefit at Seawanhaka Yacht Club on Dec. 4 as they held their Holiday Art Exhibit and Sale. It was a lovely event in the perfect venue. It was celebrating the Center’s transition from Doubleday Babcock Senior Center to The Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay.
The yacht club had created a tree of lights on the flagpole/yardarm that seemed quintessentially – Oyster Bay: the harbor, the moon rising in the heavens, and a hint of life lived by the sea.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did taking the photo. Have a wonderful holiday, keep well and happy and be good to each other.
