FHS Musicians Perform at Rockefeller Center’s Tuba Christmas

A large group of Farmingdale High School student-musicians visited New York City on Sunday, Dec. 10 to take part in Rockefeller Center’s Tuba Christmas performance. Over 500 tuba and baritone players gathered to play Christmas carols under the world famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree for the event, attracting a huge crowd of onlookers who found themselves swept up in the holiday spirit.

Twenty Farmingdale students took part in the exciting and memorable performance, including three alumni. Farmingdale High School received a special mention at the event for having the most students from a single school participate.
