Maud Brand, 99, of Oyster Bay, formerly of Manhattan, died on Dec. 31, 2011. Wife of the late Charles. Mother of James (Maureen), and Janice (Robert Grady). Grandmother of Sarah. She was a WWII veteran and recipient of the U.S. Medal of Freedom. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
