Picture 53People everywhere are excited about the Super Bowl, some for other reasons than the game.

The Super Bowl is known for providing the very best commercials and a teaser that was just released this week hints that we’re in for another Super Bowl jam-packed with great commercials.

The teaser for the Super Bowl ad proved particularly exciting to fans of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” The teaser went viral this past week and stars Matthew Broderick, who famously played Bueller in the 1980s flick.

Broderick is seen getting out of bed and throwing open the shades.

“How can I handle work on a day like today,” says Broderick in the teaser that plays classic Ferris Bueller music in the background.

The short ad ends right there but already has tongues wagging. Many speculate it will be the introduction to the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” sequel.

The sequel would follow the famous movie in which high school senior, Ferris Bueller decides to skip school and spend the day with his girlfriend Sloane Peterson, played by Mia Sara and his best friend Cameron Frye, played by Alan Ruck, in Chicago.

Others shoot down the sequel rumors and say it’s just a teaser for a Honda Super Bowl ad.

According to TheHDRoom.com, the Super Bowl spot will mimic scenes from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, including the jump the two valets do in Cameron’s dad’s Ferrari. Because it’s a Honda ad, the valets will make the leap in the new CRV which you may have already seen ads for.

Reportedly, Honda hired Todd Phillips of “The Hangover” to create the ad.
