Lawana May Beardsley (née Hansen), 78, of Oyster Bay, died on Jan. 26, 2012. Wife of Harold. Mother of Clifford (Debra Lynn), Leah Landro (Mark), Janet Maiorello, and Charlotte Elia (Peter). Grandmother of Jessica, Christopher, Nicholas, Mary, Michael, Hannah, Zachary and Jacqueline. Sister of Darlene, Fay and Lamar. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service at the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey D. Prey officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, 5 Channel Dr., Port Washington, NY 11050 would be appreciated. Interment private.
