Robert W. Meyerdierks , 79, lifelong resident of East Norwich, died on May 21, 2012. Beloved husband of Thelma. Loving father of Steven (Michelle), Susan George (Chris Hughs) and Jim (Mary Ellen). Cherished grandfather of James, Emma and Joe. Devoted member of East Norwich Fire Co. for over 31 years. Owner of The Country Market in East Norwich for many years. Decorated Korean War veteran. Arrangements were made by the Oyster Bay Funeral Home. Funeral service at the funeral home. Interment Brookville Cemetery.
