Pet Blessing
Parkway Community Church, 95 Stewart Ave., will celebrate the Blessing of the Animals at 10 a.m. All are welcomed to bring their pet or a photo of their pet for blessing. For the children, a representative from PAWS, will discuss pet adoption and will have kittens for adoption. Also, a representative from Mid Island Animal Hospital will speak to the children about animal care. A special blessing will be given in rememberance of pets lost during the year.
