Obituary: William J. Bartscher

William J. Bartscher, of Oyster Bay, NY, passed away on Aug. 28, 2012 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father of Jack (Patty), and David (Laura). Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Also survived by loving relatives and friends. He was an honored WWII Veteran, POW, and Silver Star Recipient. Memorial Mass was held at St. Dominic RC Chapel, Oyster Bay. Entombment at LI National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Oyster Bay Funeral Home.
