Obituary: John S. Shepard

Shepard, John S., 74, of South Farmingdale, passed away on Jan. 13. Beloved partner of Iris Ryan. Loving father of John, William, Frederick, Alan, Keith, Michael, Catherine Strauman, Colleen, Donna Mandella and Kim Honor. Proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his devoted companions, Cullen and Riley. Retired member of I.U.O.E. Local 138. A funeral mass was held on Jan. 17 at St. Kilian RC Church, with interment following at Trinity Cemetery in Amityville. Donations in John’s memory may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
