There will be an auction with free admission to benefit Last Hope Animal Rescue at St. Bede’s Church, 220 Berry Hill Rd., Syosset on April 13. British Veterans Fundraiser

Ladies, do you love to sing? Twin County Chorus has a place for you. Parade Announcement

On May 27, the United Veterans of Hicksville will hold the annual Memorial Day Parade and ceremonies. The parade will step off at 9 a.m. from the Sears parking lot. It will turn left and head south along Broadway to Old Country Road. At Old Country Road it will turn west until it reaches Jerusalem Avenue. At Jerusalem Avenue it will turn south and proceed to 4th Street where it will end by the Hicksville Middle School. At approximately 10:30 a.m., the Memorial Day ceremonies will take place at the Middle School’s Veterans Memorial Park.
