Catholic Daughters of the Americas #869 Pot Luck Supper will be held on April 20, at 6 p.m. at St. Ignatius Loyola School Cafe, 30 E Cherry St., Hicksville. Enjoy an evening of home cooking. Willet Avenue Reunion

Bingo, Chinese Auction
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Bellmore Fire Department is holding a Bingo and Chinese Auction Night on Friday, April 26. It will be held at the Bellmore Fire Department Headquarters, 230 Pettit Avenue. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first game of bingo starts at 7:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $8 and children 10 years and under is $4. Admission includes a bingo card pack, door prize, coffee, tea and dessert. Food and refreshments available for purchase. Handicap accessible, ample parking at adjacent LIRR station. Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) for an exciting evening of fine food and drink, delectable desserts, and fantastic casino fun on May 2 at The Carltun located in Eisenhower Park in East Meadow. Ladies, do you love to sing? Twin County Chorus has a place for you. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to join the Twin County Chorus of Sweet Adelines International in the joys of a cappella harmony. Parade Announcement
On May 27, the United Veterans of Hicksville will hold the annual Memorial Day Parade and ceremonies. The parade will step off at 9 a.m. from the Sears parking lot. It will turn left and head south along Broadway to Old Country Road. At Old Country Road it will turn west until it reaches Jerusalem Avenue. At Jerusalem Avenue it will turn south and proceed to 4th Street where it will end by the Hicksville Middle School. At approximately 10:30 a.m., the Memorial Day ceremonies will take place at the Middle School’s Veterans Memorial Park.

Golf Outing
Crossroads Restaurant Golf Outing to benefit the Michael Magro Foundation on May 28. Registration at 8:30 a.m. at Tam O’Shanter Club, Fruitledge Road, Brookville. Cost is $200 per person. There will be a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. and a barbecue lunch at noon. Goody bags, raffle, and trophies will also be awarded. After the golf outing, enjoy dinner back at Crossroads located at 646 South Broadway, in Hicksville. Dinner only will be $60 per person, includes open bar, deluxe hot and cold buffet, coffee and dessert. Pre-registration is a must.
