Giants To Coach Plainview Kids

This summer, your little football fan could have the time of his life at a New York Giants’ Youth Football Camp at the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County Plainview Elementary School from July 22-26.

The New York Giants Youth Football Camps are led by professional coaches and New York Giant heroes. Providing support this summer at 22 Tri-State locations will be former New York Giants Bill Ard, Stephen Baker, Rodney Hampton, Eric Dorsey, Keith Elias, Curtis McGriff, Odessa Turner and Charles Way.

The camps are for kids aged 6-14 and provide safe, non-contact instruction. Using the same techniques as the Giants, kids learn to run, throw, catch, defend and compete. The program develops athletic skills and life skills through football.

Special features include three New York Giants heroes per camp, the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition and Championship Friday. Awards and prizes are given out during the week, including the prestigious Leadership Awards and a replica New York Giants helmet to one lucky winner.

There are three program options: the comprehensive skills camp for newcomers ages 6-14; the accelerated skills camp for league-experienced players ages 9-14 — this is an “advanced class room” within the comprehensive skills camps; and private instruction where students receive position-specific football training from an expert coach.

To register visit www.NYGiantsCamps.com or call 877-226-9919. Cost is $ 459. Camps operate Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
