Obituary: Alfred C. Goerke

Alfred C. Goerke, of South Farmingdale, passed away on June 14. Beloved husband to Martha of 57 years. Devoted father of Ronald (Loretta), the late Monika (Jim), Heidi, and Tim. Cherished Poppy of Kristina, Stefanie, Michael, Christopher and Ronald. Also survived by three brothers and family back in Germany. Alfred was a proud member of Plattdeutsche Volksvest in Franklin Square and honorary president since 1975. It was a piece of Germany here in America. Religious services were held in the funeral home. Cremation private. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc.
