Open to all of Long Island- The Association of Generational Experts for Seniors (AGES) is hosting its first FREE “Options For Our Aging World Family & Caregiver Resource Fair” at Lutheran Church of Our Savior, located at 12 Franklin Avenue in Port Washington. Taking place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., this comprehensive event will provide caregivers managing the health and well being of today’s seniors with a one-stop-forum for gathering vital information, products and services to help support senior care, wellness and quality of life.

Miscarriage Support Group
A safe, confidential, supportive environment in which to talk about what you have been through, your reactions and feelings, and how to move forward. You are not alone! Free Veterinary Lectures
Once a month through December, Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners. All members of the public are welcome to attend. A 12-step self-help group, offers help and support to those who have clutter problems in their homes or workplace. •Plainview-Bethpage Lions Club has dinner meetings on the second Wednesday of the month (except July and August), at the Marriott Residence Inn-Plainview, 9 Gerhard Rd., at 7 p.m. The club has been serving the area since 1957. •Meet The Doctors. Focusing on education, Premiere OBGYN will sponsor a Meet the Doctors program on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at 79 Froelich Farm Blvd., Woodbury. •Introduction To Chemotherapy, a monthly information session for cancer patients who are beginning chemotherapy treatments. Family members are welcome. Refreshments served. There is also an opportunity to share information with others who may have been through similar situations. •Free Walk-In Stroke Support Group offered by Plainview Hospital every fourth Thursday of the month at 2 p.m. in Conference Rooms A and B, lower level, 888 Old Country Rd. Learn about risks, warning signs and treatments and hear medical specialists speak about the health issues concerning stroke and stroke prevention.
